Dr. Swiler, Salt Lake City, Utah, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah and Master of Public Health at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed his medical degree as Dr. of Osteopathy at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine the founding institution of osteopathic medicine.
After completing a one year internship at Andrews Air Force Base as a general intern and three years as an Honor graduate flight surgeon in Mountain Home Idaho including deployment to Baghdad international airport in 2003–2004 for Aero-medical evaluations of wounded soldiers to Germany, he moved on to residency training in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University in Indianapolis Indiana.
He has been practicing emergency medicine in Utah for 14 years in both West Valley City and
Bountiful. Dr. Swiler has been training under the only board-certified hair transplant surgeon state of Utah since 2022. "Training under Dr. Zufelt has open my eyes to the art of hair restoration and transplant procedures. Traveling to Panama last year to attend the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery allowed me to not only see and hear the most up-to-date procedures in hair restoration, I also affirmed that doctor Zufelt is implementing these techniques and strategies with all of his patients. I am, and my patients are, lucky to have his knowledge and skills passed on to me.”
In his time away from medicine Dr. Swiler enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters traveling and camping. He very much enjoys golfing with friends.
